Event Coordinator
Location: Remote (Preference for Flint or Detroit Area)
Job Type: Part-time (10 to 20 hours per week)
Salary: $15 to $20 per hour

Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Event Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in planning and executing events that celebrate and promote drag culture. You will work closely with our marketing team, performers, and venue partners to ensure each event is a resounding success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, from concept to execution.
- Liaise with performers, venues, and vendors to ensure smooth event operations.
- Assist in the promotion of events through social media and other marketing channels.
- Manage event budgets and timelines.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during event planning and execution.
- Gather feedback post-events to continually improve the experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event coordination or related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with the drag community and sensitivity to its unique culture.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in social media and digital marketing tools.
- Residents of Genesee County or Detroit Area preferred, but remote candidates will be considered.
